  • Pretty nice view out the window from my 26th floor hotel room. Glad I asked for the highest floor he could give me. #
  • Impressed how cheap it is to rent a cell phone in Korea. ~$2 a day and reasonable per minute rates outbound and free inbound calls. #
  • I’m in a country where I don’t speak the language and the women are drop dead gorgeous. I wonder how much trouble I am going to get into. :P #
  • Glad I looked online before buying. Wiis are dirt cheap here (<$200 US), but apparently are region locked for games like DVD movies are. #
  • OMG OMG OMG! My SPOT was able to track my airplane flight for the first time ever! So awesome! http://tr.im/SFOtoICNflightGPStrack #
  • Grabbing breakfast then headed to Olympic Park to wander around. Likely hit Yongsan Electronics Market at some point later on. #

  • Uh oh… Seems the going rate for the Canon 5D Mk II in Korea is around 3.35-3.5 million Won. That’s roughly $300 cheaper than the US. :| #
  • 1st time in my life I’ve eaten at a restaurant for Thanksgiving. Would have cooked like past yrs but leaving for KR tmrw so leftovers = bad #
  • What better way to spend a Thanksgiving evening where you’re having to get stuff done at the office than to do so jamming to @DaveJMatthews? #
  • @ElizabethN Glad I could pass on the knowledge! From every indication (@ev claims it too) it’s really @DaveJMatthews and not an Agent/PR guy #
  • Finally done with the crap I needed to do at the office. Fixing to grab swag from storage then heading home to finish packing. #
  • Man I hate holidays. Been to three grocery stores (one a 24hr “super” store) and all are closed. Bahh! #
  • The more I use the new Facebook, the more it makes me want to hurl. Seriously! Very few webpage designs have that strong an effect on me. #
  • @ninavizz It’s Apple’s second year on the Black Friday bandwagon. EPP discounts make it even more attractive on limited items. #
  • 24″ iMacs are going for nearly 15% off retail w/ EPP + Black Friday deals. If they pushed it over 20% I might buy, but willpower wins today #

  • Why must they put places like Red Mango on my walking path. Good thing I’m headed to a haircut or I would be forced to stop. #
  • @basictheory Friends don’t let friends run phpBB. Which friend failed who here? #
  • Work laptop only has 100gb HD and don’t want to take two laptops to Korea, so picked up a 320gb LaCie rugged tonight. Should do the trick! #
  • If you’re ever looking for a fast bus powered external HD which has both USB 2.0 and Firewire 800, look no further than the LaCie ruggeds. #
  • Nano, check. Nike+ I bought eons ago, check. Now headed to go jump on a treadmill since it’s a tidbit nipply outside. #
  • Pulling in the garage I realized I can’t remember the last time I parked here. Has it been a year (when I got my own parking spot @ work)? #
  • @basictheory I was the same way until I got my own spot outside building D. Speaking of, need to let someone use it next week while I’m gone #
  • iPod $150. Nike+ $25. Endorphin rush after a run, priceless. There are some things AAPL&Nike can bring u, for everything else there’s Amazon #
  • @pixelarchitect you made me insanely jealous too. I must find this place now and consume some of it’s awesomeness as soon as possible. #

  • Just booked a flight to Asia leaving Friday for ten days. I think this will be the furthest off the TZ where I live I’ve ever been (PST +17) #
  • I just placed the largest currency order I’ve ever done (in sum, not value) w/ BoA. Scary to think 275,000 of a currency is “pocket change” #
  • @janeylicious Yep, the exchange rate rate now is 1487 for Won and I bought at just shy of 1,400. Wish it was ~1,000, would make math easier. #
  • Note to self, just because u know how to do something, and are capable of doing it well, doesn’t mean u should do it. Pay people who do it! #
  • I’ve worked in startups too long prior to joining Yahoo!. I don’t wait on other people to do their job, if I know how I just do it for them. #
  • There’s been 1024 bytes in a KB for what, 30-40 years now or more? Didn’t hard drive manufacturers get the memo? Seriously? #
  • Apparently Korean Won is an “exotic” currency according to Bank of America’s Foreign Currency department. Hmm… :-? #
