Tea anyone?
As many of my friends know, I am an avid tea drinker. In fact, I don’t think there is a type of tea I don’t like. While waiting on the Apple store guys to put RAM in the Mac Mini I bought today, I went walking around the mall. Near the Apple store I was strangely drawn to this shop I had never seen before, a place called Teavana. It was the amazing aroma of teas coming from the store which was dragging me in like a tractor beam.
Being that I was already somewhat low on tea, I was like a kid in a candy store. They had a wall completely covered in huge cans of tea. It was as if I had died and gone to tea nirvana.
I’m somewhat ashamed to say I ended up leaving with 40 oz of tea, aka about 400 cups roughly. I decided to buy an assortment of 20 teas of all different varieties, ranging from white tea, to green tea, to black tea, and several in between. Here’s a list grouped by type of tea:
White Tea
Chinese Honey Dew White, Precious White Peach

Oolong Tea

Herbal Tea
Azteca Fire, Egyptian Chamomile, Yerba Mate, Very Berry, Apple Lemon Pomegranate

Rooibos Tea
Rooibos Orange, Rooibos Tropica, Rooibos Peach, Blueberry Bliss

Green Tea
Dragonwell, 9 Treasures, Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls

Black Tea
Darjeeling Makaibari, Ginger Peach Apricot, Sweet Cranberry, Himalayan Majesty

So when you combine the above with the tea I already had on hand, you come up with a super wide assortment of tea. Here’s what I already had on hand:
Gen Mai Cha by Saphara, Honey Chamomile by Tulsi Tea, Jasmine Oolong by TenRen, and Earl Gray, Chai, Green Tea Mint, and Blueberry Rooisbos sold by Rishi Teas.
Time to go heat some water now and sit back and enjoy a cup! Call / email me if you want to stop by sometime and sample one.
